Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY),Project in Karauli,Rajasthan

URIDA has been awarded its second project under DDU-GKY in Distt.Karauli, Rajasthan. The project is to train and place 300 candidates falling Below Poverty Line in Sewing machine operation. The project is expected to achieve the targets by the end of August 2023.

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY),ROSHNI Project in Sonebhadra,Uttar Pradesh

The Roshni project under Deen Dayal upadhya Grameen Kaushalya yojana aims at skill development of youth from Left wing Extremist districts. The Project Targets residential training and job placement of 600 candidates in Sewing Machine Operation.The training centre is situated in Sonebhadra,Uttar Pradesh.So far around 500 candidates have been trained and more than 70% of them have been placed with various garment manufacturing companies.The project is expected to complete within a period of one year.

NMDC Sponsored Skill Development Project In Distt. Dantewada,Chhattisgarh

The project is funded under the CSR component of National Mineral Development Corporation.Project target is skill development of 270 candidates In trades such as Industrial Sewing Machine Operator, Domestic electrician and Wood Craft.The Project aims at creation of sustainable source of income through skill development and employment to youth as well as needy from the Left Wing Extremist District Dantewada of Chhattisgarh, which is also a Mining area of NMDC.

Mukhya Mantri Kaushal Samvardhan Yojna (MMKSY, under Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development Mission)

The Project is going on in District Balaghat and Sheopur of Madhya Pradesh.Project Target is training and job placement of 1039 candidates in Trade Sewing Machine Operator.

Integrated Skill Development Scheme (ISDS- By Ministry of Textiles)

The project aims at skill development of unskilled youth and adults from various states of the country,in apparel/Garmenting and their job placement in relevant industries.2566 beneficiaries have been trained in trade-Industrial Sewing Machine Operator through 20 training centres, out of which 1813 have been placed with various garmenting units across India.
